Jin's stuff is really, really nice.
He posts regularly at www.fwooshnet.com , and usually has new work posted in their custom forums before he has it up on his site.
He's a little egotistical, but at least he has the chops to back it up.
Could be more humble, though.

his stuff looks clean, but a lot of it seems to be figure bashing. Taking a Neo head and putting it on a ML body, etc. Anyone with SOME skill at customs could pull that off.
Not to rag on him too much, but I've been much more impressed with many other customs, some on this board included.

Jin puts his stuff up for critique, and these people would go out of their way to try and start a fight out of nowhere.
It's no coincidence that the members who hound Jin are also some of the worst customizers on that board. If they channeled half the effort into creating a halfway-decent figure that they do attacking Jin, they'd be creating masterpieces.
Instead, they've gotta hate and talk a lot of shit because their work sucks.
I've seen some of his stuff, and it's very nice.

But I digress. There's loads of great customizers around. It's an art... and like I always say... not all customs, like all art, appeal to all people.
It's hard not to get a big head sometimes when a custom is well received. I try to stay humble as possible, because I am my own worst critic. I like to share my stuff to inspire others and help them come up with new ideas and/or ways to do things, and I enjoy sharing my techniques. I DON'T do it to say "Hey, look at me, and how cool my shit is." That's just me though... others do it for different reasons. I think of customizing, like collecting, as a community. We learn when we share.
Jin has a lot of cool stuff to share, and he's good at sharing techniques. That takes him out of the elitest group in my eyes, and makes him cool, ego or not.
I hate it when some folks show a custom, and won't share a recipe or how they did something... the "holier-than-thou" attitiude doesn't make many fans. That goes for most things in general though.
